- Indoor-outdoor plants are tough and designed to withstand the elements.
- UV plants may feel thicker and stiffer compared to other faux plants and flowers you are accustomed to working with.
- Occasionally dust your UV plants with a feather duster or cloth. You can also wash artificial plants under running water.
- When creating a small arrangement in a traditional container, anchor your UV greenery in dry floral foam, which does not hold water and provides a sturdy base.
- Cover the floral foam with dry moss or pebbles, or try “planting” your UV plants in a container of gravel.
- Large UV plants and trees are installed in drop-ins, a term used in the industry to describe bottom-weighted containers.
- Bottom-weighted containers counter-balance top-heavy large plants and trees and are not decorative. “Drop” these into decorative containers and cover them with moss or gravel.
