Yes, they work. You’ll want to use our glass Plant Mister on any indoor plant that lives in the wild with humidity. And that’s a lot of indoor plants from Tillandsia air plants, bromeliads, large tropical Monsteras, and more. Especially when you’re heating your indoor environment. Our misters are 3 x 3 x 6 inches tall in two colors: Black and Gold.
FAQ about Hydrating Plants with a Mister
To prevent leaf yellowing, always fill your glass plant mister with tepid water to hydrate your plants. Cold water causes a shock to the leaves and promotes yellowing and leaf drop.
Don’t mist your houseplants on a particular schedule. For the healthiest plants, consider the conditions. If the air is dry, mist your plants and provide hydration.
Tap water contains mineral salts that can accumulate on the top edges of your planters and pots. To prevent these salts from building up, occasionally take your houseplants to the sink, dunk them in tepid water, let them drain, and return them to their growing places.
For Tillandsias and air plants, you may feed these plants by including plant food in the mister during the active growing season.
While you’re at it, wash the leaves. Houseplants can’t exchange gases if the leaves are covered in dust.
