- Even though they are referred to as silk, most faux stems such as our faux hops stems are made with combinations of plastic, polyester, and wire
- Occasionally dust your floral arrangements with a feather duster. You can wash artificial flowers under running water, held upside down. Do not fully submerge in water.
- The base stems are overly long and sturdy. Feel free to trim the length with wire cutters
- One or two stems in a tall container is all you need
- If you make a permanent arrangement, you’ll want to anchor your flowers in dry floral foam. Dry floral foam does not hold water and offers a sturdy base to hold your plants
- You may hot glue your floral foam to your container interior, although if you’re not mailing or moving your arrangement, it’s not necessary
- Cover your floral foam with dry moss or pebbles
